【廖柏璋╱綜合報導】綽號「King」(小皇帝)的詹姆士(LeBron James)，今年總冠軍賽表現失常，屢屢在關鍵第4節搞消失，加上NBA生涯8年一冠難求，成為全美民眾嘲諷對象，《巴爾的摩太陽報》昨整理虧詹姆士最經典的幾則笑話。



冰球打3節 有詹一定贏

LeBron James was just traded to the Florida Panthers. He should be wildly successful, since in the NHL, there are only 3 periods.
翻譯：詹姆士剛剛被交易到職業冰球的佛羅里達黑豹隊，在那裡他一定會很成功，因為職業冰球聯盟只需要打3節。
註解：詹姆士在總冠軍賽第4節表現太差，被諷刺不會打第4節。



新詹版iPhone 會震不會響

Apple is coming out with a LeBron James iPhone. But it only vibrates because it has no rings.
翻譯：蘋果將推出詹姆士版iPhone，但它來電只會震動，因為沒有配備鈴聲。
註解：ring除了指鈴聲，也代表冠軍戒，諷刺詹姆士NBA生涯還沒拿過冠軍戒。

翻譯：土星和詹姆士有什麼不同？他們體型都很巨大而且充滿能量，但土星至少有戒指。

翻譯：為什麼詹姆士沒上大學？因為他沒有通過畢業考。
註解：finals除了指畢業考，也指NBA總冠軍賽，諷刺詹姆士不曾在總冠軍賽勝出。

Why did LeBron James get an automatic transmission in his Lamborghini? He's not good in the clutch.
翻譯：為何詹姆士要在他的林寶堅尼加裝自動排檔？因為他不擅長踩離合器打檔。
註解：clutch除了指離合器，也指關鍵時刻，諷刺詹姆士不擅長在關鍵時刻挺身而出。




向詹討1元 只給75分錢

I saw LeBron before the game and I asked for $1. He gave me 75 cents. I said where's the rest? He replied i don't have a 4th quarter.
翻譯：賽前我看到詹姆士，向他要1元美鈔，他只給我75分錢，我說剩下的呢？他說：「我沒有最後的25分錢。」
註解：quarter在籃球場上是指「節」，也指美國的25分錢硬幣，又是嘲諷詹姆士不擅長打第4節。

A-Rod, of all people, wants people to have some perspective when it comes to LBJ, and says winning a title is by no means a guarantee no matter how great the player: “New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez says fans should get off LeBron James’s back over his failure to lead the Miami Heat to the NBA title. ‘Winning a championship is not an easy thing to do regardless of talent,’ Rodriguez said. ‘LeBron is a once in a lifetime player, especially the last year.’ Rodriguez asked for patience in judging James. ‘We need to remember this kid is 26 years old, and celebrate his talent,’ Rodriguez said. If anybody knows the public beating James is taking for the Heat not winning, it is Rodriguez … Rodriguez said the Heat not winning should not take anything away from Dallas. ‘Let’s not take the Mavericks as an afterthought,’ said Rodriguez, who lives in Miami and played in Arlington, a suburb of Dallas. ‘They did everything they had to do to raise a championship.’”
