請英文高手幫我看看這句的文法

Tell me does that book you are reading

Tell the story of your life
訴說著你生命的故事


我比較有疑問的是第一句的文法和意思
請幫我解答

Tell me does that book you are reading
這如果是個完整的句子的話，文法就錯了。應該是 Tell me about that book you are reading. ﹝告訴我有關你在讀的那本書﹞
如果有後文的話 Tell me, does that book you are reading ....... 應該翻成 「告訴我，你在讀的那本書是否...........」
例如：Tell me, does that book you are reading contain many pictures? ﹝告訴我，你在讀的那本書是否有很多圖片﹞

1)Tell me does that book you are reading
不對了
問句的話:tell me,do u read the book?
直述句:tell me about the book u are reading

2)Tell the story of your life

tell me the story in ur life
好像比較好

其實這兩句的意境有點不同:
Tell the story of your life  告訴我你人生的經歷
Tell me the stories in your life  告訴我你人生中曾經歷過的小故事  (通常用複數比較合理)

Tell me does that book you are reading

這句完全不通.  應該是 "Tell me about that book you are reading" 或是 "Tell me, what's that book you are reading".

Tell the story of your life
訴說著你生命的故事

這句沒有訴說的意思.  應該是 "講你的人生經歷".  這句話的感覺是你的朋友想寫本書但卻不知道該寫什麼, 然後你給他的建議就是 tell the story of your life.
