準備要領
  Today is the first lesson for this semester, I take this chance to get to know you and will seize every possible opportunity to modify my lesson to suit your need; you are also welcomed to offer your feedback for your own sake and the sake of success for this program. Moreover, I specifically allow you to ask any kind of questions that you don't understand at school. Tell me the kind of textbook you use at school, the supporting materials, and the coverage so that I may predict the trend of your test for the entrance exam.

I will try to cover everything necessary for your test, but for any incomplete ideas or topics, we definitely will talk about them again in depth in the fall sessions. Therefore, after the whole year of study, I am sure that we would cover at least up to 95% of all the graduate school entrance exams and drill you on the techniques for answering the test questions (The Quizzes!!!). Once you come to the cram school, we are going to help you get into the graduate school with the least possible effort.

Ⅰ. How to prepare for this course? Oh, it's easy!
u First, show up to the lesson every time unless I take a leave on that day.
u Second, study every piece of the information I give you in the handout.
u Third, sharpen your writing skills as you are going to answer at least 5 long essays questions in test. Don't worry, I will drill you on that and give you sample answer to compare with.
If you have decided to major in English Education, you are advised to purchase the textbook I recommended for this semester. Of course, there are other reference books out there for you to read, I will provide a list of references later.
Ⅱ. Some collaborative efforts between you and me are required for this course:
On my part:
It is my job to give you as delicate as possible the information I want to convey based on the test coverage and I will definitely do so with many well-organized and integrated handout and references. In that case, I believe I will save you a heck lot of time doing the revision and organization work. Moreover, you will better absorb the ideas under my scaffolding knowledge organization.
On your part:
You got to be selfish not to let other people peep at your notes, quizzes, handouts, or any forms of documents from me! Each year each graduate school only takes in a certain number of students, you know, competition is fierce; so don't let your privileges be abused by other rival students who take it for granted. Moreover, you are not allowed to make any kinds of aural or visual recordings without my prior permission. I will take every possible action against those who invade my copyright property!
