I spotted this bronze plaque at a flea market seven years ago in KY and it has mystified me ever since. The old man who sold it to me for $90.00 said he bought it at an estate sale in Indiana and did not know much about it. I was told the original is stored at the Louvre in Paris and is never displayed because it's so brittle. What is still a mystery to me is the star constellation. I believe the constellation marks a specific time at a specific location somewhere in the world. Perhaps an event. But no one has been able to tell me which star constellation it is.
