I understand Taiwan can't take a hit lik Japanese nuclear power plant accident. However, we can't accept high electronical bill neither.
Japanese nuclear power plant accident was mostly faulted by their plant's operators. They did not recognize the cooling system is failing until the 2nd day. Then they pull in the ocean water in the wrong tank which cause the exploration at least on the number 1 nuclear reactor.
Our government shall create a much restricted guidelines to avoid the nuclear power plant accident. They shall show us how well they can do it to prevent rather telling us how much the electronical bill will go up.
I think most of people will not reject nuclear power if it is 99.9999999% safe. But most of us will not take if it is only 90% safe. How to make the 9.9999999% more safe is required the electronical company and government to prove to us they can do it.
