前陣子Eagles（老鷹合唱團）的吉他手Glenn Frey逝世（1948-2016），他們的許多經典歌曲又被拿出來討論，其中當然不乏這首搖滾界的經典："Hotel California"「加州旅館」。
Hotel California是1976年推出的歌曲，由Eagles的鼓手Don Henley創作。Hotel California除了其經典的電吉他尾奏一直為人津津樂道以外，它充滿詩意與寓意的歌詞，也一直是歌迷研究、討論的對象。前陣子看到一篇分析其歌詞的文章，以「七零年代嬉皮精神與資本主義的對比」切入，寫得相當深入，大家可以看看這篇文章，可以更了解這首歌的創作背景，和Don Henley當初的深意。
