Why is the title Chinese Taipei (=中國的台北)? All the teammates have made so much effort this time and so far the fruit is juicy. However, under the title Chinese Taipei instead of Taiwan, all their sweat and strength would only give credit to China. What a pity! Although the title Taiwan can't be used in international competitions, to distinguish Taiwan from China, Taiwanese  are advised to cheer for our team simply using Taiwan rather than Chinese Taipei.

Apparently you know the answer yourself. You just said the name "Taiwan" isn't recognized in international competition, and therefore we had to use "Chinese Taipei". So why ask a question in which you already know the answer to? This issue has been talked about numerous times. I think you're just trying to fan the flames between the two nations.
