Interestingly, Christmas day was not the exact date Jesus was born, but neither was it an after-event fabrication. One of the early origins of Christmas was a winter festival on December 25th celebrated by the Romans, called Dies Natalis Solis Invicti, or "the birthday of the unconquered sun." Funnily enough, to this day we still don't know how December 25th became associated with Jesus's birth, but we celebrated as hundreds of years have gone by.
That's something about Christmas, but it's hardly what Christmas is about in our time. We have many people frowning upon the distasteful commercialization of Christmas, complaining the religious message is diluted, or distorted even. It would be unfair to deny that they have a good point, but that certainly is not the whole picture. Giving and receiving presents connects people who are fond of each other, it's a message of love, done in the name of Jesus. What can you ask more, really?
Anyone reading the scribble I committed here, my condolence for your time. But as reimburse I hope you have fun, and
I wish you a merry Christmas
I wish you a merry Christmas
I wish you a merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year~~~(singing~~~:emo 053: )
